UNISON and your Environment Agency branch take Health and Safety very seriously.

To be effective in our fight for safe working conditions we need people in every workplace, every depot, every office, to act as advisors and representatives on health and safety issues. You don’t need to be a health and safety expect to consider taking on this role, you’ll get full training and support from UNISON as well as paid time off from your employer to carry out this union role.

Ask any safety rep and they will tell you that this important position is one of the most rewarding in the union.

Please remember everybody is responsible for their own H&S, and that of their colleagues!
