We had a great turn out today for the picket at Kings Meadow House. It was freezing cold but we were wrapped-up warm and full of good cheer.
We are fighting for fair pay, after all these years of austerity. We have taken the equivalent of a 20% pay cut compared to the cost of living (so far). As a result, colleagues are leaving and it is very difficult to recruit new people. For the sake of the Environment Agency’s future we need an inflation-beating pay rise!
Huge thanks to everyone for all of your support!
