Meet other disabled women members, including your reps on the National Disabled Members Committee. These meetings have been arranged to allow space for members from under-represented groups within disabled members self organisation to network and organise and to ensure they have better access to the disabled members conference agenda.
The meetings allow under-represented groups to identify and discuss their own priorities and submit motions and amendments in line with the conference timetable. There are four network groups – Black members; women members; lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender plus (LGBT+) members; and Deaf (native BSL users) members.
This is a free event with lunch provided, taking place at UNISON Centre in London, travel costs are met nationally.
